March is National Nutrition Month

Happy National Nutrition Month and happy National School Breakfast Week! It’s only fitting that #NSBW17 kicks off at the beginning of #NationalNutritionMonth; just as breakfast is the best way to start your day, celebrating breakfast is the best way to start a month-long nutrition celebration!

About National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month (NNM) is focused on highlighting the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. The theme for National Nutrition Month 2017 is “Put Your Best Fork Forward”. NNM began as National Nutrition Week in 1973, and was ‘promoted’ to a month-long celebration in 1980.
